Your North and South Goa tour starts upon your arrival at Dabolim International Airport at Goa. Our tour representative will meet you at the airport and pick you up. Get assisted with a smooth transfer to the resort in North Goa. Complete the check-in formalities and freshen up. The rest of the day is at your own leisure, which you can spend relaxing or exploring the charming delights of Goa on your own. Overnight stay at the resort.
Wake up to a lavish breakfast and get ready for the sightseeing tour of North Goa. Start your tour by visiting Vagator Beach. This silver sandy beach overlooking the majestic Chapora Fort. Vagator Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa and here you can enjoy a refreshing swim or go exploring its beautiful stretch dotted with huge red cliffs and two fresh bubbling springs. Later, you will visit Anjuna Beach, which is renowned for its breathtaking and scenic beauty. The beautiful seashore is covered by uneven boulders that serve as a backdrop to many wonderful Goan rave parties. Watch the waves splash the boulders, bask in the laid-back bliss, or try out the watersports such as parasailing, yachting and windsurfing, and banana rides. Lastly, visit the Fort Aguada that is currently serving as the Central Jail. Fort Aguada is one of the largest as well as the best-preserved relic of the Portuguese era. Built in the early 17th century, the fort guarded the seaway entry into the River Mandovi and protect Old Goa from potential enemy attacks. After the sightseeing tour, return to the hotel. Savor scrumptious dinner and slip into your bed for a restful sleep.
Greet the day with a hearty meal and then check out from the hotel. Begin your drive to South Goa. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. Later, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Old Goa, which is the heritage capital of Goa. Walk around the area and experience the world-famous Churches of St Francis Xavier, Se Cathedral, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Monuments of St Cajetan Church, St Catherine’s Church, Tower of St. Augustine, and Nunnery/Convent of St. Monica. Many of these relics of the Portuguese colonial rule of Goa are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the old temples of Goa namely Shanta Durga Temple, Lord Mangueshi, an incarnation of Shiva, also known as the kuldevta of many Hindus in Goa especially of Saraswat Brahmins. After sightseeing, drive to the capital of Goa - Panjim city. Here you can enjoy a walk along the Latin Quarter of Goa, Mala Fontainhas, pay a visit to the State Museum and later see the pious Mary Immaculate church in City Square and end the day’s excursion by exploring the markets of Panaji. In the evening, return to the hotel after the hectic day. Enjoy the dinner and have a sound sleep.
Arise to a toothsome breakfast and drive to Dudhsagar Waterfall. Your first stop of the day will be the Spice Plantation where the entry charges will be extra at approximately INR 500 per person. The lunch is also included in the entry fees. Explore the spice plantation and you can also buy some spices from there. Later, you will head towards the Dudhsagar Falls, which is the most impressive waterfall in Goa. This mighty four-tiered waterfall is located on the Mandovi River, which is renowned for its beautiful scenery. It cascades down near the cliff and forms a foaming torrent, which makes it a sight to admire. The water plummets down from hundreds of feet and forms one of the most spectacular of all-natural phenomena in Goa. En route Dudhsagar Falls you will pass through small villages, bright paddy fields, and swaying palms. You can drive to Collem and then board the safari van/ safari jeep that will take you to the waterfalls. A short wall in the forest leads you to the base of the falls. At the Dudhsagar Falls, you can swim in the cool clean water of the pond and under the cascading falls. Also, you can lie down and rejuvenate. Later, enjoy lunch at the jungle café, nearby the waterfall at an additional cost. After lunch, you can spend time enjoying an elephant ride, feeding the elephant, and get a memorable photo with him (at additional cost). After this, you will visit the Mahavir wildlife sanctuary and enjoy a jeep safari in the sanctuary. You can spot exotic species of wildlife. (The charges for jeep safari are to be paid directly at the sanctuary, which shall be approximately INR 700 per person). After the sightseeing tour, return to the hotel. Savor a delicious meal at the resort and have a sound sleep in your bed.
This is the last day of the tour. Start the day with a lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel. Later, pack your bags and check out from the hotel. You will have an assisted transfer to the airport/ railway station for your journey to an onward destination with fond memories of the Goa holiday.
